Took a hike up a hill in the Armour Heights area of the city this morning and here are the pictures. It is a beautiful day and this is one of the more peaceful areas of the city. Many flowers are in full bloom, including the gorgeous white euphorbia, which has an intoxicating smell and only blooms at Christmastime. We also fed some stray dogs who were most grateful for the food.
I am grateful that my legs are getting back to normal after the marathon, although I still feel slightly like a drunken toddler, i.e. a bit unsteady. A spinning class and some yoga completed the morning. I’ve been told now is the time to try new activities as you ease back into running. Enjoy your Saturday.
